April Rawipa Phillips is a freelance visdev artist and background painter based in San Diego, California. She has contributed to several projects led by Asians In Animation, StreetsofZine, and Rubyshark Games. Committed to creating detailed designs and exploring niche locations for backgrounds, she enjoys finding reference through history and architectural design.

On the side, she is pursing a degree in interior design to fully immerse herself in the world of 3D. Climbs and reads for fun.
